Chennai Express is the upcoming Bollywood movie starring Shahrukh Khan. Following the path of Aamir Khan, SRK is doing only 1 big film in a year and this year its going to be Chennai Express. It is a romance comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty and similar to SRK’s old films, it is produced by his wife Gauri Khan under his home production Red Chillies Entertainment. After the Farah Khan’s blockbuster hit in 2007, Om Shanti Om, SRK and Deepika Padukone are back again together. But its the first time that Rohit Shetty and SRK are working together. As usual, SRK will be doing romance and Rohit will be blowing cars. The first look of the movie was unveiled on 1st January’13. SRK will seen as playing the role of a south Indian boy.
Story:
The movie is about a guy who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and is trying to adjust in the southern culture. The movie shows his journey in a comic way and how he meets a girl who is from a completely different culture and how they fell in love.

Release Date:
From past few years, SRK has been releasing his movies on Diwali but this year that slot is already occupied by Hrithik’s Krrish 3. Also eid and Christmas are also booked. So, it seems that SRK is looking for Dussehra to release his movie. Till now, the date is uncertain but it can be 1st October, 2013.
